Description
This 1970 Chevy C10 Pickup stepside was purchased in 1983 to become a low budget backyard project. The stock 250 was replaced with a 350 V8 which was custom built by R&E Racing in Lancaster CA. Some after market components include pop-up-pistons, racing cam (lobe dimensions unknown), high performance lifters, Mallory high energy ignition. A posi traction rear end was installed with 4-11 gears and Turbo Hydramatic 350 automatic transmission. Because of the smog law changes in California the Quadra jet four barrel carburetor had to be replaced with a stock carburetor in 1988. This old truck runs great and still has some get-up-&-go despite the stock carb. For pictures and info goto http://www.cliettmedia.com\chevy.html
