This truck is a dream and it’s all in the original, unmodified condition. It has the original flathead 8 cylinder engine and the standard 4 on the floor transmission. It runs like a truck and I just put in a new battery so it’s ready to rock and roll.
The truck had a frame off restoration about 12 years ago and I’ve had it since 2001 and I put 2000 miles on the rebuilt engine before parking it. Every rubber gasket, screw, and washer is Ford new and looks it. The electrical system was converted to 12 volt and I have all the old parts. The interior is NEW looking with no wear. And just last month I replaced the wood in the bed and it looks amazing. I also purchased an original rebuilt AM radio but never installed it and the right buyer can have the radio too.
On the negative side, the tires have cracked so they need replacing. I had planned to put on a nice set of white walls but figured I’d not put any more money into the truck if I was going to sell it. The radiator has a leak so it needs a little care. The paint has some garage scratches from me not paying attention and the driver side window is cracked.
