If your looking for a real stock solid 1940 chevy truck, then you found it! This truck has not been altered in any way! has been very well kept, its all Original. A 1 owner truck before me that I new for years who passed away in 1985, only has 82,000 miles! I have the matching engine, a 216 plus a complete core engine 216, also a completely rebuilt 1955 235 CID engine with a rebuilt head with unleaded seats and valves, also has a new short nose water pump to fit to the original radiator which was boiled and presure tested, plus lots of chrome goodies on engine. The chrome is in great shape on the truck. Good glass,new side window guides. Nice tight fitting doors. only a few little pieces missing like the horn button has 4 bent ribs on the grill, the wood in bed needs replacing. I have all new brake parts but the brake shoes. Has a tiny little bit of rust its on the bottom of door. was painted the stock colors blue and black back in 1984 has 2 or 3 little dents since then. has a 1940 rear Barden bumper that raps around to the rear fenders. I have many hard to find parts that go with it. To many to list! This would be a Wonderful truck to restore! Ive owned this truck almost 30 years. has always been stored indoors. Im moving soon and hate to give it up but must! call for more info. you wont find a better more solid truck! this has always been a on going project for me. It never has been on the road since i bought it.the truck has the original engine removed and transmission is a stock granny 4 speed, ready to be reinstalled. rolling chassy moves easy. this Truck is in FANTASTIC shape for 71 years old! will take many pictures this weekend and will send them on request. you will fall in love with this truck like i did!
